Chile: in the first quarter of 2014 salmon exports surged 62%
Australis seafood company (Australis Seafoods) in the first quarter, according to a report in the first quarter of 2014, the Chilean salmon seafood eventually average price of $7.79 per kg, it rose by 62% compared with the same period last year.

From January 2014 to march, Chile's Atlantic salmon exports increased by 21%, the average price of $8.47, the price rose 40%. Silver salmon exports fell by 23%, the average price for $6 per kilogram. Trout exports fell by 57%, because of a shortage of raw materials, the average price jumped 89% to $9.93 per kg.
